I'm a growth entrepreneur and an entrepreneurial-minded lawyer with an unyielding passion for growth companies. I thrive on building challenger companies, pioneering new business models, and targeting to international markets.

My journey began in the established Finnish law firms, where I specialized in technology companies, M&A, Private Equity, and Venture Capital transactions. But in 2006, I unearthed my inner growth entrepreneur and left the traditional law scene. I co-founded Fondia, a start-up with a mission to revolutionize the legal industry. Becoming Fondia's CEO and transforming Fondia from a fledgling start-up into the first publicly listed legal services company in the Nordics, employing 200 professionals across four countries, is a feat I hold close to my heart.

In 2013, driven by the lessons learned at Fondia, I co-founded Heltti. Our vision was to redefine occupational healthcare, therapy, and wellbeing services. I led Heltti as CEO for its first decade. In September 2026, Heltti's occupational health business transferred to Mehiläinen. The therapy and organizational development business continues independently.

Growth companies evolve, and so do their leadership needs. Recognizing this, I stepped down as CEO of Fondia in 2011 and as CEO of Heltti in 2023. My commitment to both companies' success has remained steadfast throughout. At Heltti, I continue as Board Chair and major shareholder. In May 2025, I returned as CEO of Fondia.

So far, I have had the opportunity to ring the Helsinki Stock Exchange bell twice during the IPOs of Fondia and Witted. My goal is to continue meeting the stock exchange bell also in the future.

I've been a Partner at the Boardman network since 2012, and served as Vice Chair of its board from 2012 to 2015.

Beyond my law degree, I hold a degree in economics, a testament to my commitment to a well-rounded understanding of the business landscape.

The name of this site, Juristimo, mixes the Finnish word "juristi" (lawyer) with my first name, Timo. Juristimo is a blend of my passion for law, entrepreneurship and my personal touch. In the Finnish language, Juristimo can also be seen as a place where law is made, like a bakery where bread is baked.
