Lawyerpreneur expertise means combining legal experience with entrepreneurial know-how.
Here’s where I really shine:
Leading Board Work. Currently, I chair the board for six fascinating companies. A great CEO or entrepreneur doesn’t automatically become a great chair - it requires a different skill set. I’ve systematically built this expertise, from communicating with shareholders and handling stock exchange matters to best practices in leading board work and coaching CEOs.
Strategic Work. As a co-founder of Fondia, Heltti and Invesdor, and a board member for many companies, I’ve crafted strategies for challenger companies. The best strategies are insightful, concrete, and actionable.

Shareholder Agreements. A shareholder agreement is a crucial tool for owners to agree on the ownership strategy and leadership structure. As a lawyer, I’ve drafted countless shareholder agreements. More importantly, as an entrepreneur, I’ve lived as a party to many of these agreements, both as a founder and an investor. This gives me a deep understanding of the clauses, risks, and issues, as well as ways to avoid pitfalls.
Funding Rounds. I regularly advise First Fellow Partners in its venture capital operations, funding rounds and exits. Besides the legal aspects, I’m well-versed in the market practices related to venture capital, private equity, financing rounds and exits.
Mergers, Acquisitions, and Exits. I’ve handled M&A transactions both as a CEO and board member, and as a lawyer. This helps me understand the strategic goals and negotiation dynamics. From experience, I know that every clause in a contract affects the deal price. I’ve even had the honor of ringing the stock exchange bell twice for IPOs.
Corporate Governance Structures. Companies grow and thrive best when they have ambitious owners, a professional board, and an effective executive team. Each of these elements is crucial. My experience in executive roles, on boards, and as a major shareholder in growth companies enables me to advise in designing winning corporate governance structures.
Coaching Business Leaders. Having served nearly 15 years as a CEO of growth companies, I understand the daily challenges CEOs face. In my role as the Board Chair of six companies, I have focused on honing my ability to listen to and coach CEOs and other executive leaders. I do not hesitate to challenge leaders in professional discussions, but I always remember that my primary task is to support them and help them shine.
